Since completing his medical degrees, Alfred Božić has gained vast clinical experience as a medical doctor, anaesthesiologist, and acupuncturist in both national and international contexts.
Alongside his medical career, he pursued his deep interest in personal development, completing training in integrative counselling and art psychotherapy. At the outset of the pandemic in 2020, he authored the
workbook Self-Care for Caregivers, designed to help prevent burnout among medical staff at St. James’s Hospital, the largest acute teaching hospital in the Republic of Ireland.
Today, he runs Anamart, his private practice in Rijeka, Croatia, where he offers counselling, EMDR therapy and art psychotherapy in English, Italian, and Croatian. His integrative approach reflects his belief that personal growth is a lifelong journey of change and self-discovery.
